RomanceRockBands was created on January 4, 2019.

It is maintained by Tied Star Books in Vancouver, Canada.

Its purpose is threefold:

• an information and discovery hub for readers, and a venue to promote rock star romance;
• a tool for authors to reduce accidental duplication in naming bands or characters or albums or books;
• a way to facilitate Guest Appearances and manage shared fictional venues, festivals, and media.
