Just One Yesterday (JOY) catapulted onto the music scene almost twenty years ago. Their older music has been described as alternative rock with intricate melodies and amazing lyrics. Their first album, ''On Our Own'', went double platinum within six months of release and they went from an opening act to headlining a ten-month, hundred city tour. Their sophomore album, ''Actions and Words'', was recorded shortly after that tour ended, telling the world that Just One Yesterday was here to stay. Since then the band has added a dozen more albums to their catalog before keyboardist Noah Kelley announced his. departure from the band after a very public struggle with drugs and alcohol.
