From childhood, author D.D. Lorenzo sensed the emotional connections between family and friends. After writing her first book, “I Like All Things Pink,” at the age of six, the gift of telling stories was her heart’s desire. With the encouragement of a few bestselling authors, she took a leap of faith, published her first novel, and gathered a fan base. Readers frequently comment that her books cause them to shed a few tears, and for that reason, she keeps an adequate supply of tissues nearby. There are only two things she adamantly opposes: judgmental people and okra.
