Character

Caesar Blue, the charismatic lead singer of the band Lush who died tragically at 28. Caesar was a free spirit, very loving, caring, and incredibly sexy. Caesar delighted his audiences with his amazing voice, and super sensual dance moves. Off stage, he lived and loved the wild lifestyle of a rock star. He eventually cleaned up and encouraged his best friend, Johnnie Vega to do the same. He was loved by everyone. He dated many, and remained friends with all his exes.

In the series, Caesar has been dead 16+ years. He returns to the land of the living, prompted by the need to help someone. At first, he believes it's Melanie he needs to help, but it becomes clear that he needs to help Johnnie finally get clean.

Physical Appearance

Caesar is best known for his gorgeous head of curls. Brown hair with golden highlights. His dark eyes exude mystery and sex appeal. He's five eleven with broad shoulders and a slim but muscular physique.

The author's muse for Caesar is Michael Hutchence.

Caesar met Johnnie when Johnnie rescued him from a fight in the boy's restroom at school.

Caesar was a vegetarian.

Caesar was actually a Jr. His father goes by the name Blue in the series.

The idea for Caesar's mode of death came from the INXS song, Kiss the Dirt. There are many INXS Easter eggs in the book, Eternally Wild.

Romantic Relationships

Caesar was a ladies' man who had many high-profile relationships before his death. When he returns from the dead, he gets involved with a woman named Melanie Davis.
