Character
Keith "Kat" Williams is Lightning's bass player. Level headed, and even tempered, Kat is the perfect balance to his best friend's hot headedness. No matter the situation, Kat stays calm, cool, and collected. He's the one everyone turns to for advice and as Adrian says, "He's always right."
Kat also had a difficult childhood due to his mother's drinking. She was an embarrassment to him and his sister, Tracy. Because of this, Kat has a stern stance on drinking alcohol of any kind which puts him at odds sometimes with his musical brothers who all imbibe.
Physical Appearance
Kat is the quintessential tall, dark, and handsome. He's the tallest band member at six feet, two inches. His hair is brown with blonde highlights. This matches his eyes which are brown and flecked with gold. He has high cheekbones and a jawline you could cut diamonds on. Like his best friend, his clothing reflects his rockstar lifestyle.

The author's muse for Kat is John Taylor of Duran Duran.
Kat was christened "Kat" by Adrian, who said he was a "cool cat" but they used the K to go with his real name of Keith.
The author's muse for Kat's love interest is her high school bestie.
Because the author doesn't drink, she wanted to create a character who also abstained from alcohol.
The author ALMOST killed Kat off in book 3. But decided against it. He does face a medical crisis.
The author wanted Kat and Adrian's relationship to be very close because often books show female characters with besties, but often don't explore male friendships.
