Just One Yesterday (JOY) catapulted onto the music scene almost twenty years ago. Their older music has been described as alternative rock with intricate melodies and amazing lyrics. Their first album, On Our Own, went double platinum within six months of release and they went from an opening act to headlining a ten-month, hundred city tour. Their sophomore album, Actions and Words, was recorded shortly after that tour ended, telling the world that Just One Yesterday was here to stay. Since then the band has added a dozen more albums to their catalog before keyboardist Noah Kelley announced his. departure from the band after a very public struggle with drugs and alcohol. Having just added the first female band member to the mix, Just One Yesterday has taken their music to the next level.

Members

  • Evan Andrews — Lead Vocals. Perceived by the media to be standoffish, Evan is incredibly shy. His reticence to a be a "true front man" for JOY stems from a stutter he had as a child. Has known Chris/Topher, his best friend, since they were kids. Physical Description: 6'1", dark blond hair, blue eyes, near-constant five o'clock shadow.
  • Topher Rivers (aka Chris Rivera) — Bassist. Topher is the only member of JOY with a stage name. The only son of rock and roll royalty, he didn't want to use his parents fame and connections for his band. Having grown up watching his parents, Topher is comfortable in the spotlight and the band's front man. Childhood friends with Evan. Physical Description: 6'5", brown hair, brown eyes, typically clean shaven.
  • Finn Campbell — Guitarist. Met Evan, Chris/Topher, and Milo in High School. Broody, but loves his bandmates like brothers. Physical Description: 6'2", light brown hair, green eyes.
  • Milo James — Drummer. The flirt. Milo is the playboy of the group, always up for a good time with a pretty woman. Has known Finn, Chris/Topher, and Milo since High School. The black sheep of his family, he pretends he doesn't care that he hasn't spoken to his parents in almost twenty years when he chose pursuing music over going to college. Physical description: 6'5", dark brown hair (nearly black), ice blue eyes.
  • Lilah Stevens — Keyboardist/Back-up vocalist. Lilah is the newest member of JOY, having just joined the band about three months ago after their last keyboardist (and another fellow band member from High School) left the band. Lilah comes from a wealthy family but, like Milo, is the black sheep of her family. She does speak to them, but the conversations are strained and they constantly tell her to quit music. Physical description: 5'7", long blonde hair, green/hazel eyes.

Former Members

  • Noah Kelley — Former keyboardist. Noah left the band six months ago after a long time struggle with drugs and alcohol which stemmed from his belief that he needed to act like a "quintessential rock star." Physical description: 6'0", brown hair, brown eyes.
